Types of Cranes For Hire

Mobile Cranes

At Sarens PSG, we can provide a range of mobile cranes across Scotland. With depots in Aberdeen and Invergordon, we are uniquely positioned to service all your lifting requirements.

Our fleet of all-terrain mobile cranes for hire has a maximum lifting capacity of 750te and includes Liebherr LTM 1220-5.2, Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1, and Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1

Crawler Cranes

We have a fleet of lattice boom crawler cranes available for hire in Scotland, including Liebherr LTR 1220, Liebherr LR1750, and Terex CC3800SL

Giant Ring Cranes

Capable of lifting the heaviest loads, such as offshore wind foundations, Sarens series of Giant Ring Cranes provide an integral part of any deployment of wind turbine generators offshore.

These heavy lift cranes are the product of the engineering efforts of our in-house Technical Solutions and Engineering team.

The cranes can lift components, including floating foundations, and fixed-foundation jackets and monopiles for the wind industry, as well as accommodate lifting requirements for oil and gas, mining, refinery, and nuclear power plants.

Designed to European standards, the ring-based heavy lifting cranes are CE certified.

The cranes we have available for hire for projects across Scotland include the SGC -120 which has a 120.000T/m load moment. We also have the SGC -140 heavy lifting crane that has a 140.000T/m high load moment. Like the SGC-120, it is a ring-based heavy lifting machine with a compact footprint with low ground-bearing pressures. The crane has a 45% stronger capacity than the SGC-120.

The largest crane in our fleet is the SGC-250 with a capacity of 250.000T/m. Launched in 2018, it’s the third generation crane of the SGC series. It has a maximum boom length of 160 metres, and it can be equipped with or without a jib. It can operate on a ring or on straight rails. The crane’s maximum load is 5.000T.

Finally, we have the SGC-90 which has a capacity of 90.000T/m. Together with the SGC-250, these heavy lifting cranes have a wide application across various industries, including the wind sector.
