The leading heavy lifting and transport specialists Sarens PSG has secured the naming rights to Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC’s stadium after concluding a record-breaking three-year sponsorship deal.
From this season, the club’s 7512 capacity ground which neighbours the banks of the Moray Firth, will be known as the Sarens PSG Stadium.
The major six figure sponsorship investment will run until at least season 2027/28. The financial terms have not been disclosed, but were confirmed by both parties as being record breaking in terms of value and scope.
The agreement includes premium stadium branding, integrated digital and matchday activations, and a range of community initiatives.
Sarens PSG will support the club both financially and introduce it to their global audience and business network, as the Highland side looks to accelerate and build its commercial growth under new ownership.
The deal further cements Sarens PSG’s commitment to the Highlands where the company is involved in major international renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including offshore wind and other green energy.
Sarens PSG Director Paul Clark, said: “We are extremely proud to partner with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and continue investing in our Highlands community.
“The club has a passionate, ambitious fanbase and a strong sporting tradition, and it will be an honour to see our name displayed on the stadium. As we reach record breaking new heights off the pitch, we hope the players can achieve the same on it.
“This deal will help strengthen the prospects of the club going into this season, and help lift its profile onto an international stage at the same time. We look forward to supporting them on the journey ahead.”
Club Chairman Alan Savage said: “This is a fantastic and welcome piece of financial support for the Club from a company that recognises the benefit of ICTFC to all members of the Inverness community.
“I cannot thank them enough. Let’s hope other businesses small and big follow their lead to put Inverness Caley Thistle on a solid financial foundation, so it can invest in a team that can climb up the leagues.”
